Terms of Use

These terms of use apply to the Android app Glanzo (package name com.gremlincode.glanzo). By installing and using the app, you agree to them.

2. Scope of service

Glanzo is a chore planner and household organizer. The app is free to use; certain features are reserved for the paid "Glanzo Plus" upgrade. Glanzo Plus is a subscription purchased through Google Play that covers the entire connected household. Prices, terms, and any trial period are shown in Google Play before purchase; the Google Play terms also apply, including their rules on cancellation, withdrawal, and refunds.

Household sync and the leaderboard are a server service provided for the app. Without a household, the app runs entirely locally on your device.

3. Account, household, and your content

Glanzo works without registration. For household sync, your device receives an anonymous identifier and a Glanzo ID; optionally, you can link your account to your Google account to make it recoverable. You are responsible for whom you give your Glanzo ID to and whom you invite into your household.

You choose the names of rooms, tasks, and members yourself and share them with your household. Do not use unlawful or offensive content, and do not use third parties' personal data without their consent.

4. Availability of the sync service

We aim for high availability of the sync service but do not owe uninterrupted operation. The app is built offline-first: your data remains usable on your device even when the service is temporarily unavailable, and syncs afterwards.

5. Warranty and liability

The app is provided as is. There is no assurance of specific properties and no guarantee of uninterrupted, error-free operation. Use is at your own risk.

Any liability of the provider is excluded to the extent legally permissible. This applies in particular to data loss and to disruptions of network, device, or server service. Only liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.

6. Changes

We may adapt these terms of use when the app's features or legal requirements change. The current version is linked in the app and available on this page.

7. Final provisions

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which you habitually reside remain unaffected. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
