Delete account and data
How to delete your account and data in the Android app Glanzo (package ID com.gremlincode.glanzo).
Delete directly in the app
- Open Glanzo and switch to the "More" tab at the bottom.
- Scroll to the "Account" section.
- Tap "Delete account & data".
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog. The app is then reset.
What gets deleted
- Your anonymous device identifier, your Glanzo ID, and the stored device hash.
- Any Google link (Google account identifier and email address).
- Your household membership and invitations addressed to you.
- A household whose only member you were, entirely: rooms, tasks, completions, and subscription assignments.
- All local app data on your device.
Shared households
Rooms, tasks, and completions of a household with other members are shared data: they remain available to the other members even if you delete your account. Your member entry is removed.
What remains
We retain proof-of-purchase records for as long as we are legally required to. Important: deleting your account does not cancel an active Glanzo Plus subscription; cancel it additionally in your Google Play account under Payments & subscriptions.
Deleting only some data
You do not have to delete the whole account: in the app you can remove just the Google link (More → Account → "Remove link") or just leave the household (household screen). Both leave the rest of your account untouched.
Request deletion by email
Alternatively, you can request deletion informally by email: info@gremlincode.de. Please include your Glanzo ID (visible in the app under Household) or the linked Google email address so we can identify your account.
Details on data processing can be found in the Privacy.
